My ps2 console works but the games don’t. Does it need cleaning and if so how do I go about cleaning it?
How do you know the console works if the games don’t work?
I think what you should do first is try your games out on somebody else’s Ps2 to see if they work (maybe you managed to damage them all with, like, a magnet or something, I dunno).
If they work fine, then you’ll have to either get your Ps2 cleaned (you can buy some little cleaner things for the lens at most video game stores), or if it comes to actually needing to repair it, I’d suggest just buy a new one, or save and get a Ps3. The hassle and cost of getting it repaired might not make it worth it, but get a new one, and you’ve got some warranty action going on
