Can you buy replacement part for the “swivel” cupholder on a 2003 VW Beetle – or is that only a dealer fix?

We are buying my daughter a 2003 VW Beetle and the swing-out cupholder is broken. Does anyone know where you buy a replacement part or is this only available from a dealer? Thanks!
