Whats The difference between HDD And HDMI on the Xbox 360?
I have a HDMI TV but only the scart. My friend has a HD tv with a HD cable.
Is there any Difference between HDMI and HD? Or is it just two different outputs?

>> HDD = Hard Disk Drive (not applicable here), also referred to as HD
>> DVI = Digital Visual Interface. Precursor to HDMI.
>> Component = A type of cable used to transfer analog video between devices, a component cable can support analog High Definition video
>> SCART = Similar to component but only standard definition video
>> HDCP = Digital copy protection mechanism used on digital HD video connections

So you can’t really compare HD to HDMI because that’s like comparing apples and oranges.
HD simply refers to high resolution video whereas HDMI is a specific type of cable used to access HD content.
You can compare HDMI to Component or SCART though because they are all similar in purpose.
HDMI allows you to view digital High Definition content in 720p, 1080i or 1080p High Definition Modes. HDMI devices are usually HDCP compliant meaning they are able to decode copy-protected video from movie players and game consoles for example.
DVI was the precursor to HDMI. In most cases TVs with DVI inputs are not HDCP compliant and while they can support HD video, they may be unable to decode the HDCP encryption used on some protected video sources.
Component can be used to view analog High Definition video in 720p or 1080i modes (although some devices limit the component output to 480p or 720p modes). HDCP copy protection does not apply to component video because it is an analog video source.
SCART is limited to standard definition as far as I know.
