Stephen King is a writer from the United States and was born on 21st September 1947. He is one of the most famous authors of our time, and though his writing may not be literature, we can all agree he tells a great tale! In addition to being a novelist, he is a screenwriter and short story writer. In my opinion he’s best as a novelist, and he comes as close to literature as he gets in the Gunslinger series. Besides writing books, he’s participated in film making, production and direction for movies as well as for television as well.
Stephen King movies include science fiction, horror, drama, thrill, fantasy, and of course gothic. He has been writing 1976. His first book made into a movie was “Carrie,” released in 1976 and based on his novel written in 1974. He had previously worked with the television industry and his first television project was Salem’s lot, in 1975. Though principally an author, because of the popularity of his books and wide reach, he does well in the film/TV genres.
In 1980s, Stephen King movies major productions were Fire Starter, The Dead Zone, The Shining, Creep Show, Cat’s Eye, Children of the Corn, Christine, the Running Man, Silver Bullet, Stand by Me and Maximum Overdrive. All these were based on his novels
In 1990s, he started to work more, because of the popularity and fame he got due to his success in the film industry. He was also awarded lots of awards which include National Book awards, British Fantasy awards and many more. In 90s and 2000 onwards his production includes Golden Years, the Stand, Rose Red, Kingdom Hospital, Sometimes They Come Back, The Tommyknockers, Storm of Century, Trucks, Quick Silver Highway, Haven, The Revelations of Becka Paulson, the diary of Ellen and many more. The distribution rights were given to Warner bros and CBS studios. Stephen king movies were very good and due to the quality of the work they have also set great records and won many awards.

Have you seen Twilight? That was not romance. It was hilarious. The animation and the acting both sucked. Like, Edward was running, but his torso was still. His legs were moving really quickly. It was so lame.
I think most movies are comedies these days, and the comedies are mostly all just lame.
